Curtiss is a seasoned member of the Southern Weaving team with almost 30 years of experience working in various functional areas across the business. Curtiss’ knowledge of raw materials, webbing construction, and manufacturing processes and capabilities make him an excellent fit for this position. Curtiss works closely with the new products team to expand our business through new product initiatives.

Jack Miller
Technical Sales Manager

Jack has been with Southern Weaving since 1959. His extensive knowledge base on yarns, weaving techniques, dyeing and finishing processes, and end use markets makes him a vital resource when it comes to helping customers solve problems.
A Greenville, South Carolina native, Jack has kept Southern Weaving on the leading edge through the decades with innovative products in industries as varied as fall protection, aerospace, sling and tie-down, sporting goods, conveyor belts, automotive and military. He handles military sales for Southern Weaving, in addition to his role as Technical Sales Manager. Jack wrote the first quality manual for the company, and held such positions as laboratory supervisor, R&D leader, and Customer Service Manager before moving into his current role.

Andrew Broadway
Product Development Manager

Andrew joined Southern Weaving in 2011.

Andrew has 24 years experience in the design and development of products including technical fabrics, composites, aerospace composites, appliances, and building materials.  He is named as a co-inventor on four US patents.
Andrew earned a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of South Carolina.
He is responsible for providing technical support and facilitating the creation of new products from an idea, to customer trials and through the production process.

Don Grant
Senior Development Specialist

Don joined Southern Weaving in 1978

Don has held various positions in the operation including Technical Sales Specialist and Loom Technician, and has been a key person for designs on our jacquard loom. Don has had 40 years experience in a weaving technology, and provides his knowledge and expertise to assist our weave room whenever needed.
In his current role, Don is very instrumental in the development of new product prototypes for Southern Weaving, and running the trials that are necessary to optimize products.
