PulCord - The abrasion protection sleeve with integrated pull cord

Utilizing WovTex PulCord™ makes installations easier, with a pull cord pre-installed for installing new, upgraded or replacement material. After installation the pull cord is discarded; the sleeve / channel is in place to protect the installed material. Applications include ropes, hoses, cables, wires or electronic materials.

WovTex PulCord™ Protective Sleeve Description

Woven sleeve for the protection of hydraulic hose and machinery; for protecting and bundling hose, cables, chains, wires, etc.  The integrated pull cord facilitates easy installation.

Applications:

  1. Protects hose from abrasion and degradation
  2. Offers limited protection from the effects of hose bursting and pinhole occurrences
  3. Allows bundling of hose, cable, rope, chain, wire, etc.

Production Process:

  1. The bulked nylon used is entangled to enhance abrasion resistance
  2. Solution dyed yarn eliminates excess dye transfer and allows improved color retention
  3. May be printed with customer name/logo, part number and/or MSHA approval
  4. Available in multiple widths up to 9.24" inside width
  5. Available in a light and heavy weight version

Results:

  1. Highly abrasion resistant
  2. Woven product is flexible and can conform easily to most specific applications
  3. Is effective in reducing the effects of pinhole occurrences
  4. Offers good leakage containment
