Sandy Saye joined Southern Weaving in 2000, after starting her career with Uniroyal Goodrich in 1984, and is now Sales and Market Director for Fall Protection webbing and Sporting Goods webbing. She also has responsibility for WovTex tubular webbing, which is primarily used in the hydraulics industry to cover and protect hoses against abrasion, but may also be used in many other applications. Saye has been instrumental in doubling the WovTex business in recent years. In her role as Sales and Market Director, Saye calls on some of the biggest names in corporate America, and they rely on her expertise to help develop the right products for their life-saving applications.
Saye grew up in the Carolinas, the heart of the textile industry, and is well-known in the textile industry, having been an officer of the International Society of Industrial Fabric Manufacturers since 1984. ISIFM is a small textile organization comprised of raw material suppliers, tire and industrial fabrics manufacturers, chemical and textile equipment manufacturers as well as yarn converters in the textile industry.
