Rope Products

Southern Weaving, in 2012, launched new Wrope™ woven rope technology, an exciting new advancement in the rope industry.  Most ropes are either braided or twisted, and can have issues such as fraying, unraveling, collecting excessive dirt and debris, or simply having insufficient properties for the job at hand.

Wrope™ woven ropes, from Southern Weaving, are an entirely different method of producing ropes, resulting in ropes that minimize any fraying or unraveling, and that are tightly woven to help keep out any dirt and debris when in use.  Dirt and debris can abrade the internal fibers of a rope and shorten its lifespan.

With Southern Weaving’s coating, treating, and dyeing operations, we can customize a rope for most any use.  We can also provide ropes with sewn terminations at one or both ends.

Contact us about your rope needs and we will be glad to work with you.  We are capable of producing basic ropes such as nylon and polyester, and ropes made of the higher-tech yarns for enhanced performance, such as Dyneema, Technora, Vectran, Kevlar, and Twaron.*  We can make ropes in diameters up to 1 inch.
