Battery Belt
Southern Weaving Company has been the global leader in the battery pasting-belt
industry for over 30 years. We manufacture numerous styles of belts used during
the plate-pasting process when manufacturing batteries. Primarily this industry
targets automotive batteries but also manufactures batteries for industrial and
recreational applications. We offer 6-ply belts in widths of 12” – 16” and 8-ply
belts in widths of 18” – 30”. We sell a finished, woven-endless belt, and we will
customize the length of the belt to meet your requirements. We guarantee precise
uniform belt thickness, a uniform splice and uniform performance with all belts
through 100-percent inspection during the manufacturing process and again prior
to shipping.We stock most standard sizes and in most cases can ship immediately.
Conveyer Belt

conveyer applications. We serve many industries with our products from the bakery
industry to the laundry industry. With your specific requirements with regards
to thickness, width, tensile, etc., our R&D departments can design a belt
that will fulfill your needs from ½” to 44”.
Recreational Webbing
Southern Weaving Co. is a premier manufacturer of task-specific webbing used
in recreation applications globally. Our product selection is very broad in this
category and we provide material from the recreational climbing and rescue industry
to pack and camping industry. We offer the ability of our R&D department to
all customers to help them design that special webbing to enhance their product.
We
offer webbing comprised of exotic fibers such as Nomex, Kevlar, Spectra, Technora,
etc. for any specialty application where increased tensile and/or increased protection
to high-heat is required.
